Child Safety Standards
Last updated: August 31, 2026
Our Commitment
Badly in Koi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. We do not allow content or behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors, anywhere on the Service.
Who Can Use the Service
Badly in Koi's matching and dating features are built for adults. You may only use the Service if you meet the eligibility requirements in our Terms of Service, including the minimum age required by the law of your jurisdiction, and minors may never use the matching, chat, or profile features to interact with other users in a romantic or sexual context.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may never upload, share, or request child sexual abuse material; sexualize a minor in text, images, or voice messages; attempt to groom, solicit, or arrange to meet a minor for sexual purposes; or otherwise use the Service to endanger or exploit a child. This applies regardless of whether the minor involved is a real person or is fictional or computer-generated.
Reporting Tools Built Into the App
Every profile and chat includes Block and Report controls so you can immediately stop contact with another user and flag a profile, message, or photo for our review.
How We Respond to Reports
We review reports of suspected CSAE as a priority, remove violating content, and suspend or permanently delete the accounts involved. We do not warn a user before acting when child safety is at risk.
Working with Authorities
Where legally required, we report identified child sexual abuse material and the accounts involved to the relevant authorities, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and preserve related records as required by law.
Reporting a Concern Directly
If you encounter content or behavior that endangers a child, use the in-app Report button or contact us directly at [email protected] so we can act as quickly as possible.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise these standards as the Service evolves. If you have a registered email address, we will notify you of material changes by email.
